Kidz Motion is a nurturing and inviting physical therapy practice specializing in the treatment of babies, young children and adolescents.
Kidz Motion provides individualized physical therapy for each child. An evaluation and treatment plan are established with objective goals. Physical therapy treatment is sensitive to the child’s tolerance, behavioral and emotional needs. Their past and present exposure to other therapies is also considered.
Your Child is Part of the Treatment Team
The child’s family and caregivers play an important role in physical therapy treatment and subsequent outcomes. It is helpful and supportive to have the family understand and participate in the therapy sessions and be an active contributor to the therapeutic process. Collaboration with the family/caregivers helps create the most effective treatment plan and realistic goals. It is encouraged that the therapeutic activities are followed through at home and in the community.
In addition to the family and caregivers being an important component in the therapy, collaboration with other disciplines is emphasized. It is beneficial to communicate as needed with other professionals, such as physicians and therapists, who participate in the child’s care.
About Michele Wallace, Pediatric Physical Therapist
During my training as a physical therapist, I knew I wanted to specialize in treating children. I saw I had a skill set that would benefit this population. I saw myself as a nurturing, caring and kind person. Alongside my education and experience, these qualities are important assets. I have devoted my professional life to treating children for the past twenty-eight years. I pride myself in the experience and dedication I bring to the children I treat to help them get stronger and guide them through the healing process. I am sensitive to and aware of the important role the family and other caregivers serve in the care, support, and progress of the child. I bring a unique commitment to the child and family throughout the course of physical therapy treatment.
Most importantly, I believe the therapist needs to develop a strong connection with the child in order to achieve the best therapeutic outcomes.
Education and Experience
I have a bachelor of science degree from Georgetown University and a bachelor of science degree in physical therapy from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (currently Rutgers University).
I have experience in hospital, school, and home-based settings. I have continued to treat in the New Jersey early intervention system. I have been owner and practitioner at Kidz Motion since 2005.
It is with pride and pleasure that I have been given the opportunity to provide quality pediatric physical therapy to this special population with diverse medical needs.

Family Testimonial…
Michele was my daughter’s physical therapist through early intervention due to some gross motor delays. Michele was vital in our child’s development, especially during Covid. She was accommodating and patiently guided us through virtual PT and then eventually in person. My daughter was always excited to see Michele and formed a wonderful relationship with her. Michele is still in our lives even though our daughter is no longer in PT. She is always easy to be reached if I have any questions about my daughter’s development and I am forever grateful to her and lucky to have her in our lives!
